I was tasked with creating various training videos for promotion of Software and events
Canvas LMS Welcome Video
I was tasked with creating a quick training video inviting new users to access Canvas LMS.
I was given a simple script to use when creating the video. Our development team recorded the video and I collaborated with the speaker to create his voiceover. The speaker screen recorded his steps as well.
I used Camtasia to import his audio and screen-recorded files to compile the video. I added the highlighting of text, sound effects, and used several audio clips to align the sound perfectly. The introduction for the video was developed in After Effects.
Conflict Resolution Process
The special populations department for our school district was in need of a process to streamline conflicts/complaints being made about special education students.
The team had to learn who the intended audience of this workflow process was targeting
- Met with Special Education Team and IT to outline an efficient process
- Developed a workflow with Sr. Ed Tech Specialists
- Established software to use (FootPrints Service Core)
- Complaints would be established using MS Forms first, before being routed to an official complain in system
- Worked with IT to develop How-To document for employees using system
- Created landing page using Schoolwires
- Developed a script for an introductory video, highlighting the process (script translated in Spanish)
- Attended video filming at district studio location, assisting with insuring video was aligned to script
- Conducted 3 in-person trainings outlining the workflow process and how to use the system
